Moving Forward

After a month or so of going, going, going, along with sickness and an emotional roller-coaster we are finally moving forward. Aydin for one is constantly on the go now, and has started walking (well if old people can call this walking then so can she). She will crawl right up to her alligator walker, pull herself up and take off. She can't really turn yet so she just pushes until it stops and then waits for us to turn her around. It is so much fun to watch her grow and develop. I am such a lucky mom!

And on the house front... here is a picture of the front of our new house.

We are finally under contract on a house that we love. It is a cozy 3 bedroom 2 bathroom house with a kitchen to die for ( : and fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom! I can't wait to move in. The only bummer about the place is that it is painted like the inside of Casa Bonita (red, orange, blue, purple, and yellow) Oh well, I would have wanted to paint anyway, now I just have a REALLY good excuse. Now we wait. It is a longer closing process for this house (45-60 days), but as long as we hang in there it's ours!

And here's one more video, just because I think this is so cute! He is such a great dog. We do love him (especially Aydin)! He got lots of praise and treats after this. (P.S. She likes to touch foreheads as a sign of affection. I don't know why, but she has been doing it since she was about 4 months old.)

P.P.S. Grandma and Grandpa Carlson: We are trying to think of a good time to take a trip up there to see you. We'll keep you posted ( :
