Milestone

This is a baby who just, for the first time, slept through the night... kind of. For those of you whose kids were sleeping through the night at 3 weeks this small celebration might seem a little much ( ; but I'm excited. There is this lady at church who I swear is magic. She just has a special touch. You put a crying baby in her arms and in minutes (s)he will be asleep. Anyway, yesterday at church I mentioned to her the conversation with doc. from the last blog, and that we were up to about 3 hrs. in between meals now. Yada, yada, yada... she looks at Aydin and says "you don't need to be eating that much." Like magic this is how our feeding schedule proceeded: 3.5 hrs. in between, 4.5 hrs., 3.5 hrs., and (drum roll......more drum roll.....) 6.5 hrs.!!! Unfortunately that chunk of time was from 8:30 pm to 3:00 am, so guess who was wide awake after her 3:00 am breakfast. Oh well, still excited.

Sam is six and a half months old and woke up like a gazillion times last night. We are still waiting for the day he sleeps through the night! Whoo hoo Aydin!

3 weeks...2 months...not a HUGE difference. I'd say it's still a great thing. I think I have one guess for that amazing lady...and you're right she's quite amazing. Glad you got a little more rest Mama...keep it up Miss Aydin!!

Yeah Aydin. Jackson was almost 1 before he slept through the night for the first time and didn't do it again until about 3! Enjoy it!
