Holiday Time Meme

1. Egg Nog or Hot Chocolate?

Love Hot Chocolate, but I hate Egg Nog; it makes me gag.

2. Does Santa wrap presents or just set them under the tree?

Wraps them all.

3. Colored lights on tree/house or white?

I like colored lights on the house, but I think that white lights on the tree make the ornaments stand out more.

4. Do you hang mistletoe?

Oh yeah baby.

5. When do you put up your decorations?

As soon as my husband lets me. This year his Transiberian Orchestra ring-tone got him in the mood the week before Thanksgiving.

6. What is your favorite holiday dish (excluding dessert)?

My Grandma Hamilton always made the best Christmas ham. She cooked it until it was so tender it would fall apart. Then she topped it with brown sugar and cooked it some more.

7.Favorite Holiday memory as a child?

Going to see my dad's family in Idaho every other year.

8. When and how did you learn the truth about Santa?

A long time ago. He always used the same gift tags and wrapping paper as my parents.

9. Do you open a gift on Christmas Eve?

Ever since I got married its hard to wait, but we try to save something for Christmas Day.

10. What kind of decorations are on your Christmas Tree?

Everything you can think of. I've gotten one ornament every year since I was born, and Jesse and I are continuing the tradition.

11. Snow! Love it or Dread it?

Love it, Love it, Love it!

12. Can you ice skate?

Yeah, but I don't like to.

13. Do you remember your favorite gift?

Actually the one I got from Jesse's mom this year. Every year for as long as I can remember my mom would put up the Nativity scene. She has always had the same one, and I would always watch her put it out. It was a special thing for me. This year Jesse's mom got me the Willow Tree Nativity scene. I can't wait to put it up every year with my kids.

14. What's the most important thing about the Holidays for you?

Spending time with family.

15. What is your favorite Holiday Dessert?

?. I don't think I have one.

16 What is your favorite holiday tradition?

Picking out a new ornament once a year.

17. What tops your tree?

A glowing frosted white star.

18. Which do you prefer giving or receiving?

Depends on what I'm giving or getting.

I don't mind them, but I'd rather have some ice cream.
